Aalish Watson

Aalish is a Manx Advocate and Commissioner for Oaths who joined the firm in 2024 following a short break from the legal sector. She started her legal career in 2016 at a local firm and was called to the Manx Bar in 2019. Since 2016 she has specialised in land law and private client work whilst also undertaking mental health tribunals. This has involved complex conveyancing, applications for voluntary registration and the re-mortgaging of a portfolio of properties on behalf of a company. Aalish is from Peel and in her free time she plays badminton for Peel Badminton Club and works at the local Youth Clubs.

Jeremy Paul Bradley Carter LLB
Jerry has been in private practice as a Manx Advocate since 1984 and has a wide and varied experience of Manx Law over the past 38 years. He has also held various Government appointments including Deputy Chair of the Gambling Supervision Commission and Chair of the Public Sectors Pensions Authority. Jerry is now stepping back from direct client facing business as of the 17th May 2024 but will continue as MLRO of Carters. Jerry was born on the Isle of Man and is a keen supporter of Vagabonds Rugby Club and is the principal organiser of the Port Erin Jazz Festival.

Nicolle joined our team in 2020 as our Consultant Advocate having 15 years’ experience as a Manx Advocate and Commissioner for Oaths specialising in Private Client and Contract law. Nicolle is primarily responsible for authorising payments from our Client Account on exchange and completion of our Conveyancing matters. Nicolle was born on the Island, brought up and educated in Peel and is an active member within the local community. Nicolle sits as a Trustee for the Manx Lottery Trust and is a volunteer for Junior Achievement Isle of Man.

Catriona joined the firm in 1995 coming from a banking and property background. Catriona was born in Ireland and attended the University of Limerick where she was conferred with a Bachelor of Arts in Law and French. Catriona’s role includes assisting with revising and implementation of the firm’s policies and procedures; assisting with financial matters; payroll and undertaking daily management of the Practice.
Greg Tomlinson

Greg is an experienced and well-regarded Conveyancer with over 20 years experience in Manx Conveyancing and property matters. He joined the firm in 2017 and deals with all aspects of residential conveyancing, as well as working closely with the private client team. In addition to residential sales and purchase, re-mortgages and transfers of equity, Greg has considerable experience in matrimonial property matters together with Declarations of Trust in respect of property acquisitions by unmarried or other joint owners. Greg, having grown up on the Island, currently lives in Douglas with two young sons. His other interests include Cricket, Rugby, Hockey and Football.

Mandy first joined the firm in 1998 and has worked for Carters on and off over the last 24 years. Mandy originally came from a Manufacturing background, which led into a Booking-Keeping career, and she now runs the accounts department. Mandy was born on the Island and was brought up and educated in Douglas, she is married with a teenage daughter. Hobbies include standing on her head daily.

Manx born and raised, Paul graduated from Lancaster University with an honours degree in History & Politics and has since attained post-graduate qualifications from the University of Law in Chester.

Danni has worked in conveyancing with breaks along the way for over 20 years. Danni assists Paul and together, they hope to make everybody’s conveyancing experience a smooth one. Danni was born on the Isle of Man and is a mother to three boys who keep her on her toes. Danni enjoys walking her labradoodle Buddy, cooking and the odd night down the Bingo hall!

Ewelina is a Senior Conveyancing Administrator, responsible for overseeing all activities that take place within Conveyancing and assisting Greg, our senior Conveyancer. Polish and proud, she moved to the Island in 2006. Ewelina has a BSc in Public Health brings to the team an eye for detail, the Polish determination to get the job done with a very friendly, cheerful and helpful manner.

Samantha has worked for the IOM Government for over 13 years before becoming a local entrepreneur in 2012. Having realised this dream herself she appreciates the importance of helping others achieve their goals and since joining Carters in 2018 she has been doing exactly that as part of our busy Conveyancing team assisting with all aspects of residential property transactions. Her outside interests include attending heavy metal concerts.
